About me

Musical Vita

Radmila Besic, born in 1980 in Croatia, was taught classical guitar since the age of seven: an education aiming to professional performance, which she finished with a musical baccalaureat in 1999, already being awarded with prices in several musical competitions. Until 2005 she refined her knowledge in musical
studies in Germany, post graduate studies in USA and several master classes with notable guitarists.

Already during the last phase of her studies she performed in Europe as well as in North and Middle America.
Radmila Besic works currently as a soloist and chamber music musician in her home country and abroad.

She can be heard regularly as a soloist and in many interesting chamber music projects: e.g. in 2015 the premiere of Andreas Baksas composition for guitar and bassoon or the performance of Luciano Berios "Folk Songs".

She currently presents herself as a soloist in concerts and event and with her chamber music projects: duo with bassoon, duo with drums/percussion, duo with clarinet, duo with pan flute, duo with accordion and duo with viola. Also she is working on some unusual concert formats together with dancers and actors.
